CENSUS: 1851 Census: A Eliza Pool is listed as a lodger doing the same job as Caroline (Straw Bonnet Sewer) and aged 15 (b~1836). At this age she could be connected to the family in some way or she was an apprentice. Eliza Poole was born in Bow Brickhill, Buckinghamshire, England.
1851 Census: Also in the census a Sarah Ann Toyer is listed as a neice (wife in the Ancestry record) of William Sturgess doing the same job as Caroline (Straw Bonnet Sewer) and aged 15 (b~1836). The relationship is known, but could there be a connection with Eliza Pool? Sarah Ann Toyer was born in Reabourn [Redbourn], Hertfordshire, England.
DEATH: Death not confirmed yet. Index entry found on FreeBMD.org.uk for a William Sturgess in Mar 1860 in Luton (Vol 3b/Page 301), but no age so not confirmed. Luton is likely to be a valid place of registration since it covers Dunstable where William lived in the 1851 census. 1860 is a good date since William doesn't appear in the 1861 census, though that is not a guarantee of death.
