No reference to a James Axtell in the birth indicies about 1854 in Henley. Needs checking. Could this be a posthumus baptism? A James Axtell was born to James and Ann in 1844 and he died in 1847. Or is this just a son called James in memory of the first James? [Jon Axtell]1
