Noone seems to knowwhy but my Dad reckoned it would be to do with either money or property. My Dad said that his grandfather told him that the other Hunts in Gentleshaw were nothing to do with their family & Dad took this to mean that they were not related! Dad neverremembers his grandfather ever leaving the house or garden, maybe it was to avoid bumping into his siblings as they all lived in the same village!! 1881 Longdon, Gentleshaw 31 ?
